Managing Director

Colin developed Total Event Services (formerly Top End Sounds) in 1981 and has since then flourished into a successful event production company.  Colin has many other side projects including the award winning Framelock crowd control barrier (www.framelockbarriers.com) which he is very proud of.  Today Colin is still 100% involved in the daily operations at Total Event Services.

Rodney Thomas

Accountant

Rodney looks after all things financial!  Rodney is a key contributor to the daily running of Total Event Services.  He may be older than the boss, but that certainly does not stop him!  Rodney brings a wealth of experience to TES and makes sure our bottom line reads nicely.

Tammy West

Exhibitions Coordinator

The bosses’ wife!  Tammy started working for Total Event Services in January 2011.  Since then has become an essential role in the organisation of exhibitions.  Tammy is also involved with furniture, and party hires for all your needs.  She can also take care of theming and table settings for events in the Territory.

Brendan Slabosz

Production Manager

Brendan has been in the entertainment industry for over 10 years, originally honing his skills as an audio engineer on the festival and touring band circuit. The past 3 years has seen him move into a production management role at TES.  He looks after all large scale events, festivals and touring bands that come to Darwin. He also looks after most clubs and bars around town and can often be found at these establishments nurturing the relationship over a cold beverage!

Sean Quinlan

Corporate AV Manager

Sean oversees the daily running of audio visual requirements for local hotels, governing bodies and many other corporate clients.  Aside from his collection of hotel pens, cutlery and whatever he can get his hands on; Sean works hard to ensure all your requirements are met.

Matthew Semmens

Hires & Information Services Manager

Matthew ensures the hires department runs smoothly and will usually be the first point of contact for equipment and event hires.  Matthew has worked for Total Event Services for over six years with a further five years experience as an audio and video technician.  Matthew also has extensive IT knowledge and experience and manages TES’ IT infrastructure, he is available to meet your technical needs with significant or specialised IT components.

Daniel Forman

Project Manager

Daniel and pavilions go hand in hand!  Daniel has become a very important part of TES.  Daniel has the nous to operate effectively when times are against him and there are many variables.  Daniel works hard to ensure the job is done and is highly regarded from fellow colleagues.

Neville Wilson

You can’t get much passed Nev! Our muso that loves what he does so much he sings in his sleep! Neville’s knowledge on Guitars, Bass, Pianos, Harmonicas and much more is second to none.

Adam first started in production helping with load ins for our many shows; but has now found his niche specialising in Bass Guitar, PA Systems, DJ Equipment, Studio hardware/software, Hi Tech and more. Adam strives to provide the very best service to his customers and delivers!
